Our meeting will give you a trip through social and economic history – The Family
History group is not just trying to trace our roots back to William the Conqueror or another
member of Royalty. One member’s research made him write a book!
We are always looking at the social parts of our ancestors’ lives, the skeletons and the
legends that make up our history such as the following :-
Was Uncle John’s story fact or fiction?
My elder sister was my Mother.
My aunt had a twin who died shortly after birth. Why?
What did my Grandfather do in the war?
