Banbury u3a

Who we are

The u3a is a voluntary movement for people who are no longer in full time employment. It is an opportunity to keep active in mind and body. The essence of the movement is about learning cooperatively from each other and having fun taking part in that sharing of wisdom.
The range of interests that we cover are extensive allowing for members to explore new and/or extend their existing knowledge and passions.

What we do

Open meetings are currently held at Longford Park Community Centre (link to map) on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month (except August and December). All members are welcome. Outside guest speakers are invited as well as members of the u3a, both national and local, together with people from local charities and organisations to give their talk and their take on a wealth of subjects.

Interest groups. are headed up by Convenors to ensure the smooth running of each Group. These groups are for the joy of learning and sharing knowledge.

Open meetings. These are currently held at Longford Park Community Centre, Hobby Rd, Bodicote, Banbury OX15 4GJ, twice a month (except August) and are open to all members.
